This is part of the final stage of the recovery plan following the $292 million hack. The rsETH tokens will be transferred to the Recovery Guardian multisignature system, managed by DeFi United. This organization is working on restoring the collateral for rsETH and compensating affected users. Aave has also filed a motion in the US federal court to overturn the May 1 order, which prevents Arbitrum DAO from mixing $73 million in ETH that was intercepted from the hacker. The basis for the court injunction is the claims of victims in other cases against North Korean hackers. However, Aave noted that these claims are based on an unproven connection with the Lazarus Group. They emphasized that illegal acquisition of assets does not confer ownership rights to the hackers.
