In April, the European Securities and Markets Authority stated that crypto companies without MiCA would violate EU regulations. They are required to cease operations or transfer users to other platforms. However, a Binance representative claims that the company has met the MiCA requirements. He emphasized that the exchange has been cooperating with regulators for 18 months. The representative also added that Binance has not received any indication that Greece will reject their application. As of January 2026, the exchange serves over 20 million users in the EU.
