Starting July 6, users will no longer be able to buy the stablecoin, and after July 30, deposits of the token will stop being accepted. The company will reject any USDT transfers. Customers must sell or withdraw their tokens by August 31. Otherwise, any remaining USDT will be automatically converted by Revolut into users’ base currency at the current exchange rate. The company did not specify which regulations it was referring to in its decision to delist the asset. Revolut also did not clarify whether the restrictions apply to all jurisdictions or only to certain ones. In November 2025, the British bank obtained a MiCA license in Cyprus. However, USDT issuer Tether has refused to comply with MiCA requirements.
