The company manages regulated Canadian crypto platforms — Bitbuy and Coinsquare. These platforms will become part of Robinhood, and their users will be offered the opportunity to continue using the Robinhood app. The broker noted that the acquisition of WonderFi will attract 300,000 users. As a result, the total number of Robinhood clients outside the US will exceed 1 million people. Robinhood initiated the purchase of WonderFi in May 2025, with an expected completion in the second half of 2025. However, the deal was delayed due to the integration of Robinhood's own technologies in Canada and regulatory approvals.
