Previously, company representatives repeatedly stated that they would never sell BTC. However, Strategy CEO Phong Le announced that they have changed their approach. Now the company will sell BTC when it is advantageous for them. Le emphasized that the amount of BTC per share is more important than increasing the total number of coins. Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor noted that they need an annual BTC growth of 2.3% for the assets to indefinitely cover dividend obligations. He also stated that the company will likely sell "a little BTC" to pay dividends. According to Saylor, this will signal to the market that they are capable of doing so. Strategy owns 818,300 BTC ($67.1 billion) — 3.9% of the coin. The unrealized profit is $5.3 billion (8.6%).
