Tether.wallet enables transactions without storing network tokens. Users pay fees in the asset they use for transfers. At launch, the wallet supports Tether products—USDT and XAUT (tokenized gold) on Ethereum, Polygon, Plasma, and Arbitrum networks. The US-regulated stablecoin USAT is available exclusively on Ethereum. The wallet also supports BTC transfers on the Lightning Network. Tether.wallet uses usernames @tether.me to simplify handling long wallet addresses. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino noted that the company's technologies are used by 570 million people. The new infrastructure will help expand the user base and simplify cryptocurrency transfers. The Tether.wallet application is now available for download on mobile devices for iOS and Android.
