Ruslan Tkachuk (37) and his accomplice, Russian Alexander Ledenev (25), are to be extradited to the United States. The U.S. Treasury Department has accused them of money laundering. They are the leaders of the AudiA6 platform, which masked the origin of clients' cryptocurrency for a 5% commission. Since 2021, the company's crypto wallets have received 10.3 thousand BTC ($389 million at the time of transactions). Of this, 393.4 BTC ($25 million) came directly from known darknet markets and organizations involved in ransomware programs. In a joint operation by international law enforcement, the suspects had their crypto assets frozen and digital devices seized. The defendants face up to 20 years in prison.
